Booking Events

Events We Support	We are now taking bookings for a wide range of events. Larger events include weddings, funerals, bar mitzvahs, conferences, seminars, concerts, business events, association events, political gatherings, etc. Smaller events include art shows, 12 step groups, book reading groups, small concerts, poetry readings, study groups, etc.
What Rooms & Facilities Are Available to Book	The core areas we book are the Main Room and Vine Café. When you book the Main Room, you are basically booking the whole facility. When the Vine Café is booked, we generally don't simultaneously book the Main Room, but we may have other activities going on in the building at the same time.
Catering Policies	We are pretty flexible with catering. We have some recommended caterers we can hook you up with or you can bring in your own. We charge a modest fee for the latter. Since we have a multi-use facility, we have a few requirements if you bring in caterers including: (a) they/you must clean up professionally (outside of normal janitorial); and (b) food cannot have a lingering odor (e.g. some ethnic foods and fish don't leave for weeks!) And, yes, all legal beverages are fine. Basic coffee service is available through Hotwired Online Coffeehouse (across the street).
Decorating Policies	Since this is a multi-use facility, we will try our best to accommodate your event-related decorating requests, but please understand if we say "no" to certain items. For instance, we are fine with flowers and other kinds of typical wedding decorations. Please don't expect to attach things to walls ;-)
Pre-Event Access	We would be happy to arrange reasonable early access to the facility for setting up for your event. It is important that we coordinate this to ensure there are no conflicts with other facility uses.
Included Services	We include before and after standard janitorial services for each medium to large event. These are included in fees. If there is excessive clean-up, then there will be additional fees.
Optional Services Provided	The Vineyard provides the following optional services for specific fees: Special/excessive janitorial services Audio engineer for concerts/other events with music (required if using our audio system) Food/Beverage Catering -- through one of our catering partners Coffee Service -- coordinated through Hot Wired Café Special access to facility outside of event hours Furniture rental -- e.g. tables, special chairs, etc. Setup/Teardown event labor services Live music DJ music
Marriage Services	We can provide a wide range of services to help you with your "big day." These include the following: Pre-marriage preparation counseling Pastor/minister for performing wedding ceremony Facility package to include rehearsal, private changing area, wedding ceremony and reception party Catering for reception Live or DJ music for wedding ceremony and/or reception We are not a general wedding coordinator provider, but we can help put together a special package that works for you.
Deposits and Refunds	To hold a booking for a one-time event, there is a minimum deposit of $50 for Vine Café and $250 for Main Room. Then, the remainder of balance to 50% of total fee is due 30 days before event. For the Main Room, a damage deposit of $500 is required at least 24 hours before an event. The balance of fees owed are due and payable on the day of the event.
Basic Fees for Facility Bookings	Here are the basic standard fees for facility bookings. Since there are many variables and special needs/circumstances, please contact us to discuss. Vine Café: $35/hour (2 hour min); $200/day* Main Room: $200/hour (2 hour min); $1,200/day* *day = 8 hour block starting no earlier than 7am and ending no later than 11pm (specific exceptions might be granted for weddings)
