Ways To Serve
We have many ways for volunteers to engage with serving - both inside our faith community and within the community at large.
Food Collections for Dinner with Friends
Dinner with Friends is a community meal the feeds local families dinner on Wednesday nights at VCC. We are always accepting donations for our food pantry.
Food Needs: pasta and rice, canned tomato products, canned beans, dried herbs and spices, brownie mixes, cookies, and we also accept grocery gift certificates
Bring in your food and gift items to VCC and drop them off in the boxes behind the welcome counter.
Get involved on Wed nights: if you are interested in helping cook, serve, set up and clean up, and even eat dinner with families on Wed nights please contact Joel Bratt.
Spare Change Drive
We gather spare change to help purchase transportation vouchers for our developmentally disabled friends who need help getting to their counseling appointments. Change also goes to purchasing food for Dinner with Friends. You can place your spare change in the box at the worship station at the back of the sanctuary.
