Meet the Pastors Rich Swetman co-pastors Vineyard Community Church with his wife, Rose. Rich was licensed and ordained through an extension of Portland Bible School. He planted his first church on Whidbey Island in 1974. In 1986, Rich moved to Everett, Washington and developed a counseling practice until 1995. Rich’s focus is on holistic living which brings his experience of recovery and spiritual formation together. Rich currently coaches church planters and young leaders. In 1998 he and Rose assumed the role of co-pastors of Vineyard Community Church. Rose is a missional pastor who co-pastors Vineyard Community Church in Shoreline, WA with her husband, Rich. She is the Executive Director of Turning Point, a missional group which partners with local agencies to serve low-income families in the greater Seattle area. She is an Area Pastoral Care Leader in the Northhwest Region of VineyardUSA. Rose is currently pursuing her Doctor of Ministry from Bakke Graduate University in Seattle, WA focused on Transformational Leadership for the Global City. Rich and Rose have a blended family of eight children.
